Website Redesign

As you can see, the current site design took some elements from both recent redesigns. I kept the darker background, however changed the font and added the gradient in the background. Hope you like it. With the general layout decided, hopefully I can get the galleries and other pages done.

Website Redesign Second Thoughts

I'm still not sure I'm happy with the current website layout. Below is what may be going up in place of the current site (dark brown/futura font). Slightly different feel I guess. The bg color has changed obviously, along with the font (trajan pro). Also, there is now a forest shot in the background with a gradient mask applied to it. We'll see....

Website Redesign

If you've visited the site in the last few months you've probably either been greeted with no page at all, or a non-working front page. I've finally got the main page and the gallery listing updated. Hopefully I can get the actual galleries online in the next few days. Also, there will be a lot of new images from Fall 09 trips. Hope you enjoy!

Home Page Image

I just switched out the image on the home page of the site to a recent photo from the Pacific NW trip. I found this location after a really crummy day prior to this one. I was excited at the possibilties with the rolling hills in the foreground and Mt Hood in the background. However, as I returned here for sunset, Mt. Hood had clouded over. I remained until past dusk just in case it cleared, but it never happened. I'm still pleased with this image, but having Mt. Hood in the background would have really made for a beautiful capture.
